One of my responsibilities in the School of Japan Studies at TUFS is managing the department’s Double Degree Programmes (DDP). Using a credit transfer arrangement, SJS students can also complete a second bachelor’s degree at one of our partner universities following an extensive period of study abroad. This can be achieved in 4 years, although some students take 5.
At present we have such arrangements with two universities. For now, the available courses are with:
University of Central Lancashire (UK)
University of Melbourne (Australia)

SJS students wishing to join these programmes should first see the information available by clicking the links above, and then contact me by email to make an appointment to discuss their application. Also, please watch this video in which I tell you about some of the things to consider regarding Double Degrees.

Japan Studies Colleagues
TUFS is actively expanding its Double Degree provision and we hope that more programmes will become available in the future. If you work in a Japanese/Asian Studies department at a partner university and are interested in discussing possibilities, please drop me a line.
